Experience (EXP)
Experience is earned primarily through posting however there are other ways to earn it both In Character and Out. EXP can be used in the EXP Shop to purchase items that will aid you in combat.
Other ways of earning Experience include:
- Doing well on Missions
- Suggesting things that get implemented
- Exceptional IC Posts
- Winning Contests
- Referring People
- and more!
Stats
There are two stats in Resna Rising, Health and Energy. During the application process two rolls are made in order to determine a character's starting Health and Energy. See Akara I. Onathe's Application for an example. Every 100 posts will net you 1 Bonus Health and Energy.
Health
When your Health in Resna reaches 0, you are bleeding out. At negative half your HP you are unconcious and at negative your HP your are dead. The only way to be revived from the dead is if you happen to have a Soul Stone on your person.
Example
Bob has 50 Health, he loses a fight with a pack of wolves and his health reaches -50. Unfortunately Bob is now dead.
Energy
Energy is what allows you to summon your magic powers and fight. When your Energy reaches 0 you faint from exhaustion unless you are able to use an Energy Restoring item or someone casts restoring magic on you.
Depletion Rate:
5 Energy = Post with physical combat (like a kick or punch, using a light weapon, etc)
10 Energy = Post with Physical or Item Magic attack on a small scale or using a medium weapon
15 Energy = Post with Phyiscal or Item Magic attack of a normal scale or using a heavy weapon
20 Energy = Post with Physical or Item Magic attack of a large scale.
Expend Remaining Energy: When health is below 70% a character can summon the last of their Energy for a final, powerful attack.
Modifiers
Modifiers in Resna come in the form of Items such as potions, weapons, or armor. They can increase your Energy, Health, Attack, or Defense. Item descriptions will explain the modifiers and any Weapons will explain Energy use.
