Guilds
There are three types of guilds in Resna: Official, Unofficial, and Dark
Official Guilds
Official Guilds are guilds recognized 'officially' by the Council and have 6 or more members. They are allowed to own a Guild Hall (their own board in the city of their choice) and have access to certain types of jobs, incentives, and other things that Unofficial and Dark Guilds do not have access to.
The Council expects Official Guilds to set a good example for everyone else so swift action is taken if an Official Guild causes massive destruction, unrest, or any other acts considered unlawful by the Council.
Unofficial Guilds
These guilds have less than 6 members. Though they are not officially recognized by the Council they are still expected and required to abide by Council rules. They cannot purchase an official guild hall but they are welcome to use other places or member residents as meeting places until their guild grows!
Dark Guilds
Dark Guilds are guilds that focus on the dark arts and/or have been disbanded by the Council but do not disband. They do not abide by Council rules, nor are they technically required too. Other non dark Guilds, the Resna Army, and solo mages are encouraged to apprehend members and turn them in.
